Decatur, IL's ICON FOR HIRE release new video for "Off With Her Head," which comes from the band's 2011 debut Scripted. The group spent two days in Compton, CA (South Los Angeles) working with some of the hottest underground artists to create an otherworldly interpretation of the song. Frontwoman and fashion designer Ariel said recently, "We are pushing the boundaries, creatively and visually, to create a fashion-forward work that we can't wait to share with our fans."
The band caught the attention of Tooth & Nail Records in 2009 and signed later that year. The group then released, Scripted, in 2011 which shattered first week sales becoming the highest new artist debut in Tooth & Nail's history.
In support of Scripted, ICON FOR HIRE has spent the past 18 months touring around the world.
Currently, the group is writing a new record for Summer 2013.
